CLC Power Company Ltd has been opened.
A 108 MW HFO Fired Power Plant at Washpur, Keraniganj . The PPA was signed with BPDB and IA with Ministry of Power on December 05, 2011 under Build, Own, Operate (BOO). This is the nearest power plant of Capital Dhaka, connected to the national grid through Aminbazar Substation. The plant has achieved its Commercial Operation declaration on a declared capacity of 108 MW. The main Generating set has been supplied by a leading German Company MAN Diesel & Turbo; whereas BoP (Balance of Plant) materials were supplied by different reputed companies of European origin. To improve the efficiency a Co-generation unit has been incorporated in this power plant. Operation and Maintenance will be monitored by reputed foreign company.
